Mike has 30 years technology experience across IT Systems, Networks and Photonics where he has served in senior technical and business consulting roles for technology, defence and industry organisations.

As a strategic advisor on emerging technologies, his focus is to integrate cutting-edge Photonic and Quantum systems into today's military and government operations, enhancing efficiency and productivity. At OpTecBB, he leads international partnerships has been a cornerstone, with a notable success in establishing Ukraine's photonics cluster.

His responsibilities include steering a work group at Photon Hub, with a focus on space security and defence. Where he works directing funding initiatives, and leveraging presentations, problem-solving, and mentoring skills to foster growth and innovation within the industry, at OpTec BB Mike successfully launched Ukraine’s phonics cluster, driving success and positive interactions with the German photonics sector.

Mike has a degree from Washington State University and speaks English and German.
